Pokemon: Detective Pikachu is the first live-action Pokemon movie. It is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures. “A young man joins forces with Detective Pikachu to unravel the mystery behind his father’s disappearance. Chasing clues through the streets of Ryme City, the dynamic duo soon discover a devious plot that poses a threat to the Pokémon universe.”(IMDb) Being a live- action movie, Warner Bros has to make the Pokemon from the movie come to life. In doing so they made adorable, furry creatures like Pikachu who is voiced by Ryan Reynolds. He stands side by side with Tim Goodman who is played by Justice Smith.

With 95% of people on rottentomatoes.com saying that they would want to see this movie when it comes out. This means that considering that we only have seen some of the plot and very few trailers, the ratings are very high. The first trailer has 52 million views and 1.3 million likes on YouTube, so the community sure does like it. Overall, it sounds like Pokemon: Detective Pikachu will be a great movie and everyone who wants to, should watch it.
